Profile

As the Study Abroad Manager, Patrick works to manage exchange and study abroad programs in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, and Spain (ESADE School of Business and Universitat Pompeu Fabra). Patrick also works with various faculty, staff, and students across campus who are interested in short term programs abroad and advises students that are interested in pursuing a Fulbright scholarship.

Although originally from Kansas, Patrick has international roots. His mother immigrated to the United States from Mexico and his father from England. Patrick has a B.S. in Finance from Santa Clara University and an M.A. in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Marquette University. As an undergraduate he spent a semester in El Salvador in Santa Clara’s Casa de la Solidaridad Study Abroad Program, after which he returned to El Salvador as a finance intern for Save the Children. He later helped coordinate a summer medical program in the Dominican Republic.

Patrick is fluent in Spanish and enjoys travelling to visit family across the world. While not travelling, Patrick spends time exploring everything the Richmond area has to offer.
