Study Abroad

Travel Guidelines

The Office of International Education is happy to provide faculty and staff with guidelines for traveling abroad such as information on insurance while abroad, visits to programs abroad, travel to Cuba, and other helpful travel resources. 

The University of Richmond does not permit students, staff or faculty to use University funds to travel to countries under U.S. Department of State Travel Warnings unless the student, staff member or faculty member has received specific approval from the Office of International Education.  Click here for information on this policy

If you are interested in purchasing an International Teacher Identification Card (ITIC) contact Jennifer Stevens in the Office of International Education.  Information regarding cost and benefits of the ITIC card can be found on the ITIC website.
