Advising Students

Around two-thirds of our students decide to study abroad during their time at Richmond. Conversations with faculty and staff are a big reason why Richmond has fewer challenges when bridging the gap between interest and participation among students. Faculty and staff are important partners in helping Spiders integrate meaningful global experiences into their Richmond education, whether through semester abroad programs, short-term experiences, or international internships and research.

Our staff at the Office of International Education are eager to work alongside faculty and staff as they mentor and support students in finding programs that meet the diverse needs of your advisees and complement and expand their intended course of study.

Additionally, our team is always eager to provide assistance should you be have any questions about the process or if you’re interested in leading students abroad and establishing new international partnerships.
