Faculty Seminar

Since 1989, the University of Richmond Faculty Seminar has provided opportunities for faculty to participate in two and three-week seminars abroad. Participating faculty gain new international, interdisciplinary knowledge about a region or country selected on the basis of its current importance for the United States, in the world, and to the University’s curricular needs. Read more about the goals of the faculty seminar.

Participants represent schools and departments across the University, fostering an interdisciplinary dialogue on teaching and research with a shared focus on the studied and experienced country or region.

The 2013 Seminar traveled to Jordan, Israel, Serbia, and Kosovo.
