Internships

The University of Richmond offers summer internship programs in Australia, Germany, Ireland, England, Mexico, and South Africa. These custom-designed internships are 5-8 weeks in length and credit is available for all programs with arrangement with a University of Richmond faculty member prior to departure. All internships are unpaid and open to current and recently graduated University of Richmond students. For more information and applications, please contact Krittika Onsanit.

Non-UR students are eligible to apply for the internship programs. UR Credit is not available to non-UR students who participate in the program. Non-UR students must make arrangements with their home institution to receive credit. UR internship programs are only available to U.S. enrolled college and university students.

In London, students have worked at prestigious organizations such as the House of Commons, European Parliament, London Stock Exchange, NBC News, Dow Jones, Merrill Lynch, USA Today, Barclay's Bank, and Lloyd's of London. In Dublin, students worked at Gensec Ireland, an investment company, and First Active plc, an Irish bank. In Australia, students have been placed at the Red Cross, Coca-Cola, and the Parliament of Australia.
