Shani F Buchholz
Assistant to the Dean

Shani graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Anthropology and from the University of Richmond with a Master of Liberal Arts degree. She is currently pursuing an Undergraduate Certificate in Information Systems.

Shani worked in the Information Technology Department at Ukrop's Super Markets, Inc. for 20 years before switching gears and joining the University of Richmond. She is the portal of information for the International Education office. Her general responsibilities include maintaining the International Education website, managing the Weinstein Grant program, coordinating UR's chapter of Phi Beta Delta, monitoring the department's budgets, and assuming the role as the Building Emergency Coordinator for the Carole Weinstein International Center, on top of many, many other duties.

In her free time, Shani enjoys writing, reading, and spending time with her husband, twin daughters, and incredibly spoiled pooches, Chester and Macy.
