Profile

Sara joined the Office of International Education in spring 2017. In her current role, Sara supports the Dean of International Education in compiling and presenting internal and external reports, coordinating visitor and event schedules, and offering administrative support for short term study abroad programs. Sara also manages a team of student assistants in handling the day-to-day needs of students, staff, faculty and visitors.

Sara graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in International Relations and Chinese Studies. As an undergraduate, Sara’s international experience includes studying abroad at Tsinghua University, and completing a GIS Fellowship at Kathmandu University, collaborating with students and faculty of the Masters of International Development program. After graduating, Sara worked at Beijing Normal University, teaching advanced English courses for the Han De School of International Business and Law.

Sara can speak Mandarin and loves trying regional Chinese cuisine, especially Sichuan-style dishes. In her free time, Sara enjoys illustrating, long walks in the Fan, and grabbing an afternoon cup of coffee.
