International Education Advising

Our study abroad advisors are here to help you understand the array of programs and how they may align with your interests. You can meet with an advisor any time during your four years at Richmond, but we always encourage students to come early!

Each advisor has program-related expertise in certain countries, and all of them can advise on concerns and questions you may have about study abroad generally. Additionally, they can help connect you to research and internship opportunities through other campus partners.

Common Topics that students discuss with advisors:

  • Choosing a Program
  • Application Logistics
  • Academics and Course Credits
  • Finances
  • Identity and Fitting In
  • Friends and Family
  • Health and Wellness
  • Safety and Security
  • Culture
