Study Abroad Advising

To study abroad for Fall 2020, try to see an advisor before Winter Break.

Right now, there’s NO wait to see a study abroad advisor who will help you find the perfect program. But in January, the office will be very busy with people trying to fit in a meeting before the application deadlines (February 3, 2020 for most programs).

Guess what? Students who meet with an advisor between Nov 1 and Nov 26 will be entered in a drawing for a travel prize pack – and a very fine piñata.

Walk-in Advising Hours (no appointment required):

Through Nov 14, 2019: Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Nov 18, 2019 to Feb 3, 2020: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Special Advising Appointments in January 2020

From January 13 to January 31, 2020, study abroad advisors can see students by appointment from 11:00am to 12:00pm (noon), Monday-Thursday. Each appointment will last no more than 30 minutes. Click here to request an appointment.

Before you see an advisor, please attend a general information session and fill out the advising application in GatewayAbroad. Instructions will be given about how to fill out the advising application at the information session.
