    As the senior advisor and partner manager of study abroad, Michele is responsible for the administrative oversight of the University of Richmond's semester abroad programs. Her main responsibilities include advising students, overseeing budgets and exchange agreements, compiling statistics, addressing liability issues, and managing a portfolio of semester-long exchange and study abroad programs located around the world.

    Since coming to International Education in 1991, Michele has enjoyed working with the outgoing study abroad students, incoming exchange students, her colleagues abroad and within the profession of international education here in the US. She participates in the host family program Richmond offers to our incoming non-immigrant international students. Michele is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, but also studied at American University in Washington, D.C. and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. Previously, she worked at the Experiment in International Living, the National Endowment for Democracy, and with the Cyprus America Scholarship Program and the West Bank/Gaza Project at AMIDEAST. Michele has traveled to more than three dozen countries on five continents.

    In her free time, Michele likes to spend time with her family (plus two dogs), travel domestically and internationally, walk in nature and explore state and national parks and attend cultural events around Richmond.
