The Office of International Education engages regularly and robustly with faculty in the work of guiding, shaping, and evolving international education and programs at Richmond to meet best practices within the academy and respond to the needs and challenges of the campus community.
Cultures & Languages Across the Curriculum Committee
This committee provides guidance and support to the Office of International Education in implementing the goals of the Cultures and Languages Across the Curriculum program by reviewing proposals for new courses, promoting the program, and offering OIE advice on how to advance the goal of providing cross-cultural engagement experiences through the use of language skills in various disciplines.
Academic Committee on International Engagement
Established by the Faculty Senate, this committee is charged with discussing the priorities and goals for international activity with the dean of International Education, recommending potential new programs and courses, assessing existing programs and goals of OIE, and the reviewing and development academic policies for international education that further the overall mission at Richmond.
