About Carole Weinstein
The International Center is named in honor of former trustee Carole Weinstein, W’75, G’77, and H’04, who was the lead donor in support of the $20.45 million project.
Carole Weinstein is a long-time advocate of international programming at the University of Richmond. She endowed the Carole M. Weinstein Chair of International Education, funds the C. Weinstein Grants program, which supports study abroad and faculty research projects, as well as the Weinstein Scholars program, which provides scholarships for international students.
The Weinstein family’s support has been crucial in the development of innovative programs at the University. Recent gifts have funded Weinstein Hall and the Weinstein Center for Recreation and Wellness—both LEED certified buildings—as well as lectureships and endowed chairs.
