Withdraw or Change: Policies and Procedures

Recognizing that plans can sometimes change, UR has established some guidelines and policies students who find that they must withdraw or change their plans after the commitment deadline. We strongly encourage students to discuss their plans with their study abroad advisor prior to making any final decisions and read the information in the link below:

Withdrawal Policy and Procedures

Please note: If you are approved by the International Education office to attend a non-UR semester program abroad and are considering withdrawing, please contact the program providers for information regarding the institutions’ withdrawal policies, procedures and refunds. With the exception of extenuating circumstances, the $1,500 administrative fee charged by the University of Richmond to students participating in an approved non-UR semester abroad program is non-refundable.
