Australia and New Zealand - 2001
Dr. John Gordon, Professor of History, led a group of 10 faculty members on a three-week seminar to Australia and New Zealand. The seminar was preceded by several weeks of personal research and on-campus presentations.
While in Australia and New Zealand, participants met with faculty counterparts at the University of Otago, Macquarie University, University of Melbourne, and Curtin University. Academics from these institutions presented on a variety of topics including environmental-atomic energy issues, education in society, and museums at public institutions. Seminar participants also visited some of the region's most important cultural and political sites.
