Jordan, Israel, Serbia, and Kosovo - 2013

The 2013 Faculty Seminar Abroad took place May 14- June 1, 2013 in Jordan, Israel, Serbia, and Kosovo. A new feature of the 2013 seminar was the addition of a theme: peace and conflict management. Participants studied the chosen region through an interdisciplinary lens on the theme. The 2013 seminar was led by Dr. Joe Hoff, Associate Dean of International Education.

The participants participated in 8 on-campus preparatory meetings during the spring 2013 semester, including lectures by experts, presentations by participants, and general orientation to the region and theme from a logistical standpoint.
