Lucy joined the team in spring 2025 and provides her expertise in effective communication and event planning. Before the University of Richmond, Lucy worked in the non-profit sector at museums, health and wellness programs, and historical societies. She graduated from Elon University with a degree in Communication Design. As a Richmond Region Ambassador, Lucy is passionate about bringing the world to Richmond and mobilizing the community to experience the rich, vibrant, and creative culture that RVA has to offer.
Lucy is an avid explorer of the world. As a child, Lucy lived in Tokyo, Japan for several years, which inspired her lifelong dedication to exploration. She has been to over thirty different countries on five continents. In high school, she hosted an exchange student from the Netherlands. In college, she studied abroad through Semester at Sea, which took her to multiple countries across Asia and Africa. She is excited to use her personal life experience and professional skills to facilitate similar experiences for UR students.
