Marina joined the University of Richmond in the summer of 2022. As the associate director to study abroad, she works closely with UR Summer Study Abroad programs, EnCompass programs, faculty seminars, and other short term programs. She advises for a portfolio of semester-long exchange and study abroad programs located around the world. Marina also facilitates sustainability integration with international programming.
Marina received a BS in biology from Florida State University and an MSc in conservation from the University of Southampton. She spent a year studying coral reefs in Cambodia and later joined SeaMester as a program manager, scientist, and dive instructor sailing over 20,000 nautical miles before returning to the US to work as a special programs advisor at William & Mary’s Global Education Office.
In her free time, Marina enjoys spending time with her family and dog while kayaking, camping, hiking, or reading.
